Syed Fakhruddin Balley
Syed Fakhruddin Balley earned name and fame for substantially working as a Poet, Literary figure, Sufis, Intellectual, Creator, Public Speaker, Journalist, Compiler, Researcher, Scholar, Expert of Public Relations, and Adorer of Arts and Culture. He had an extraordinary command over Urdu, English, Persian, Hindi, Sanskrit and Arabic languages. He was declared to have a significant authority over Mysticism (Tassawuf).
He opened his eyes on 6th of April, 1930 in an epistemological and literary family residing in a town in Meerut of United Hindustan. He participated vigorously in various assemblages of Pakistan Movement as a child speaker. He received great appreciation from Quaid-e-Azam, Liaquat Ali Khan, and other leaders of Muslim League for his spirited elocution.
Earned degrees with Science subjects from the Muslim University, Aligarh. During his academics, he highlighted his skills by participating in co-curricular activities, debates, dialogues, and poetic symposiums.
He came to Pakistan five years later to the separation of Hindustan and adapted to the association of Department of Public Relations. He performed departmental responsibilities in various cities including Lahore, Multan, Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad. He also worked as a Founder Chief Editor or Editor for fifteen magazines. He was honored with the titles of ‘Benefactor of Arts (Moshin-e-Fun)’ and ‘Man of the Stage’ for organizing a ‘25-Day Drama Festival (JASHN-E-TAMSEEL)’. Created several literary organizations, named Qafla, Moeen Academy and Punjanad Academy. The gatherings of Qafla Organization were regularly arranged at his own house in Lahore and Multan.
He compiled more than 150 publications collectively, which comprises of books, booklets, brochures, souvenirs and various other publications. He showed his colors in the world of Research also. He wrote an exploratory book titled ‘Walayat Panah’ on the personality and attribution of Hazrat Ali (Karam Ullah-o-Ta’ala Wajhi-ul-Kareem). His second exploratory book was ‘Fanoon-e-Latifa Aur Islam’.
Syed Fakhruddin Balley achieved historical accomplishments after 700 years of Amir Khusro in the world of Qawwali. He even wrote a novel ‘Qaul Tarana’ and created a new ‘Rung’.
